Season 3 | Week 14 | Regular Season

The final week of the holidays arrives with the YBC bowlers bringing their final challenge until the summer! We have returning faces becoming core competitors in the league and will was fighting for the league first back-to-back-to-back win! So who ended up victorious during week 14?!

This week saw a new pattern on the lanes which proved very difficult! Easing up a bit after transition, the pattern left very little margin for error. After the fast pace at the start of the season, the scoring pace has slowed down as the lanes have become tougher!

We had 3 competitors who took a big lead over the rest of the field and the fight for top 3 was on! Graham, Ali & Paul were all within 3 pins of each other heading into game 3 on the night With no one else close. All 3 bowlers put in a solid final game to keep it close down to the final shots of the night, who clutched up for the win?!

3rd place: Graham shooting a 656 in his 2nd week bowling in the league, fantastic performance and we'll see you again in the summer!

2nd place: Ali shot a 660, finishing 2nd two weeks in a row, amazing bowling, we look forward to seeing you compete more in the future!

1st place: Paul! Taking his first win in the league after recently joining us, he clutched up a 216 and shot a 673 to take the win! Congratulations, well bowled on some very tricky lanes, keep it up!

Paul becomes our 19th unique winner in the league over the year we've been running! We've had 44 unique bowlers compete so nearly half have won at least once! We are also just £1 off reaching £300 total winnings paid this season, another incredible milestone we'll hit next week! Thank you everyone for bowling and supporting the league!

Criteria for 'most improved player of the season' and 'player of the season' will be revealed soon! Plans for season 4 are already in the works too!
