Welcome to the Can You String 'Em Summer Swing 2026!

6 weeks, 6 different patterns, bonus prizes and 2 major titles available!

Every week will have scratch and handicap winners!

The regular prize pot will go to the handicap winner on the night!

With the best 3 weeks counting towards a cumulative total pinfall during the swing!

The top 3 at the end of the swing in each category will receive bonus prizes! 

The overall scratch & handicap winners receive Major Titles!

Who can prove their consistency across different patterns, all ranging within the challenge & sport shot ratios?! 

Week 6 saw the 40ft Stone Henge V2 pattern on the lanes! 

A shot-medium distance pattern with a challenge ratio of 6.56:1!

The ball choice was key this week as smooth equipment that could float through fronts seemed to be the best match for the pattern!

We had no 600s this week, but what was the winning series?!

Who could take the victory on the last week of the swing?!

With 11 players competing during the final week of the swing, who would make the push and climb the final standings?!

We may have had no 600s, but we did have a 700!

Will Roarty dominated the final week, keeping up his pace on this pattern and shooting a massive 740!

Will shot 3 clean games of 259, 247 & 234 for an average of 246.67!

Ball of choice was the Rock Star for all 3 games, giving the smooth shape the pattern demanded!

As we conclude the first ever Can You String 'Em Summer Swing, the final standings are in and it was a very close finish!

Scratch

In scratch Lewis held a 50 pin gap to 3rd place and didn't bowl the last week which gave Alex and Will a chance to catch him!

Alex Castle fell just short on the last week and didn't improve on his best of 3 so finished in a solid 3rd place! 🥉

Bowling sets of of: 662, 723 & 588! Finishing with a total pinfall of 1973 for an average of 219.22!

Incredible bowling over multiple difficult patterns, a very well deserved top 3 finish!

Lewis Spender set the score in the clubhouse to secure 2nd place for the swing! 🥈     

Bowling sets of of: 610, 691 & 683! Finishing with a total pinfall of 1984 for an average of 220.44!

Lewis held his advantage over Alex by just 11 pins!

An amazing performance all swing and a well deserved top 2 finish!

Will Roarty had to show up and throw a big set to finish the swing and did just that to jump up to the top of the standings! 🥇

Will jumped Alex & Lewis to claim 1st place!

Handicap

In handicap the positions were so close heading into the final week!

Could any of our bowlers improve on their best 3 and jump up the standings?!

When i said the standings were close, they just got closer!

 Andrew Tapping & Phil Lloyd TIED for 3rd place! 🥉

Andrew bowled sets of: 603, 666 & 597! Finishing with a total pinfall of 1866 for an average of 207.33!

Phil Bowled sets of of: 615, 643 & 608! Finishing with a total pinfall of 1866 for an average of 207.33!

Phil improved his last set by 4 pins to catch Andrew for a share of 3rd place!

Both players ended up just 20 pins short of the top spot, showing just how close the final handicap standings were!

Tim Wood made his best 3 count early in the swing to lock him in at 2nd place! 🥈

An amazing performance and a well deserved top 2 finish!

Dan Whiteley improved his best 3 by 7 pins on th final week to keep his margin at the top of the standings! 🥇   

Bowling sets of of: 665, 631 & 590! Finishing with a total pinfall of 1886 for an average of 209.56!

Dan held onto the top spot by just 17 pins over Tim!

An incredible performance to secure the top spot and take home our other major title!
